Here a splendid Christmas Pyramid by Richard Glässer, from the Ore Mountains.
The Christmas pyramid belongs to the German Christmas as much as the festive roast and the pine tree. It is placed in the living room on Christmas Eve . Six candles bring the carousel to rotate.
On the floors, several episodes of the Christmas story are displayed. On this pyramid
-the manger,
-the shepherds in the fields and
-the Magi.
On January 6, the pyramid is again packed with care and stored until the next Christmas Eve.
The pyramid comes from the workshop by Richard Glässer, from the Erzgebirge in Thuringia.
labeled on the bottom: "Made in the GDR".
Material: beech, ash, maple, lacquer
Height: 49 cm
Condition: good. All parts are tight and undamaged - see photos. There are two small repairs to the railings.
Safety: Never leave candles burn completely. Fire hazard.
