From an old garage. Up in the rafters.
It appears to have had a lock at one time. It is no longer there.
This was black with dust when I found it. It has been vacuumed and cleaned with wood cleaner, and a beeswax conditioner has applied and buffed. It is finished with a furniture paste wax.
Beautifully aged and worn.
The heavily varnished finish is distressed, has marks and paint stains. There is a stain on the inside bottom from something being spilled. Otherwise the interior is fairly clean.
Beautifully joined corners. Lid opens and closes in register. The No. 15 is stamped on one side.
Fairly large. Would store a good amount of items.
