WW II Era Jerry Can.
Painted and Rusty.
Stamped USA on one side. OMC on the other. The date of production and maker is stamped on the bottom.
Not positive it will hold liquid or gas, but all the seams are tight, and the bottom and rim are not rusted away. They are solid, but there is surface rust.
Best for storage of gas. I WOULD NOT use this for water or similar.
Makes a nice display piece as well.
