Soooo ... I came across this old wood box at a now closed Hardware Store.
The front or face of the box intrigued me.
"Asbestes Power"
Soooo ... I translated ... oh, asbestos powder, is what I think they meant to write on the box.
The front is from the original box. It was cleaned and sanded and sealed.
The rest of the wood box got tossed, well, because I wasn't going to mess with it due to it possibly being asbestos tainted.
Soooo ... I used the old front, and made a new box out of vintage aircraft grade plywood that I had purchased. This plywood is dated 1945. Beautiful stuff.
