This listing is for a Folmer & Schwing E K Kodak Co, Rochester NY Copy Camera Wood Body, Bellows, and Frame Rails.
I believe this to be a 'Copy Camera' body. A copy machine effectively.
If there was a size for the camera I would think it to be 8" x 10".
The wood body measures this dimension at the film receiver area. The wood structure is approx 13" x 13".
THERE IS NO LENS. There is however what I believe to be the appropriate LENS BOARD which the lens would mount to.
The wood is in good condition, although if you're a collector, it would need refinished. All the joints and structure do appear to be very sound and solid. The original brass ( plated ? ) hardware appears to be intact, but is tarnished and does have some light pitting. It also would need refinished or plated.
The 2 bellows sections are dirty, inside and out. I have vacuumed them and wiped them off, but the dirt is somewhat embedded. I have inspected the bellows sections. There appear to be no tears or holes...maybe some light wear on a few edges or corners. I cannot guarantee that the bellows are 'light proof' however.
Collapsed the length of this piece is approx 24"-28". When the bellows are extended on the rails, the length expands to approx 68".
There are 2 'rail' sections that come with this piece. They bolt together. Each rail section is approx 34" in length, for a total length of approx 68".
In addition to the lens board, there is a 'spring loaded' film receiver on the other end.
There are stamped numbers on the rails. There is also identification on the bellows adjustment 'dial', with the Folmer & Schwing Division of Eastman Kodak Co. Rochester NY. There are also patent dates on the dial.
I am not suggesting this piece to be a 'working condition' example. It could possibly be restored. I am offering it as a display piece only.
