Handmade / Homemade postal style vintage tabletop cubby cabinet.
Loads of charm and character. Worn and distressed.
The piece is built slightly crooked. There are flaws, here and there.
Small numbers are stamped into the wood along the front edges.
I am not a master furniture craftsman ... and it shows !! My tool set is somewhat limited and sometimes that makes the process feel like I'm chiseling these pieces out of granite. They are made out of readily available pine wood material and salvaged old wood.
I use a technique called 'sloppy staining'. It gives the piece character. Seriously !!!
