Very Nice Vintage condition Chromcraft Fiberglass Shell Chair.

I currently have 3 chairs in this color.

Listing price is for ONE chair. Please contact me if interested in more than one.

Condition :

Color __ Good. I have cleaned and treated them with 'Penetrol'.

Note : Color is original. May have faded slightly, but you really can't tell. In production, there were color variations. Very slight, but I can see it, and if you're picky, you might as well. This is an original production variation more than a flaw.

Please see detail photo of the chair seat area. You will see a lighter area on the right arm. This is due to fibers that massed in this area in production. Also see back area of seat. There are 2 spots where it seems darker than the rest of the surface. Again, this is from original production.

Note : Color on your monitor may be different than mine. This may make the color seem more black ... or ... less black than they are.

NO CRACKS in the fiberglass __ some minor scuffs, but for the most part they are nearly perfect.

These have the X Leg. It is a lacquered or powder coated metal. Color varies slightly from chair to chair. In general, it is a brassy / copper color. There is some fading of the color on the legs. They do have marks and scuffs here and there from use.

The legs do show wear...scuffs and scrapes, and a minor rust spot or two. At the X on the underside of these, the metal does have some very slight surface rust. I have cleaned and waxed the legs.

All of the legs have the proper feet (with nylon bottoms). They all sit squarely on the floor.

All of the 'attachment pucks' are solid and not deteriorated. It is a hard rubber like material. These are what the X legs attach to.

Molded Chromcraft logo is on the underside of all chairs. These are basically a reinterpretation (knock off) of the Eames Shell Chair. There were several companies that produced similar material and profile shell chairs.

These were made in the late 1960's or early 1970's.

Very generous seat area.

Chair will be disassembled for shipping. Legs are removed. You will have to attach on receipt. It is pretty easy. 4 screws get attached to the underside.

SHIPPING NOT INCLUDED IN LISTING PRICE. Contact me with your zip for an estimate. Shipping costs vary greatly by location.

Pick Up Available as well.

Ships to US only. International not available...sorry !!

Ships FedEx Ground most likely. Greyhound Package Express available. It is cheaper than FedEx Ground to most locations. You would have to pick up at a Greyhound Bus Terminal for this option.

Thanks !!
