Solid and well built. No rot, but there is grime.
One of the latches is slightly bent, but it still does the job.
I have gone over this lightly with a fine steel wool pad to remove most of the surface grime, but keeping some intact for your viewing pleasure.
I have also vacuumed the interior, but there may be traces of dirt. I think this is more for display, but could totally be used. Can be locked. There are 2 screw eyes for a lock ( a small lock ).
