This vintage enlarging easel would make a wonderful destination for your favorite printed photo collection, thoughts of the day, or for that matter the grocery list.
I have shown it vertical or upright. It could be hung with a little ingenuity. It is meant to lay flat as a cropping tool when printing photos with an enlarger. It has 4 adjustable blades that adjust in tracks. It is in fairly good condition, but I can't say for certain that it is 'perfectly square'. It also has an adjustable support on the side for holding the frame up when placing or positioning your paper.
Made by the Albert Specialty Co, Chicago USA. Now defunct to the best of my knowledge.
It could be used as suggested as a photo frame, but it would also function as it was meant to.
I believe it will crop images/paper at a maximum of 11" x 14".
Over all size is __ approx 16" x 18"
Vintage condition. It does have a few spots of rust here and there.
