This lovely foot stool has a unique square shape, and a beautifully detailed cast iron base. The amazing ironwork has a floral design that has been painted in rich reds and golds, and it will add an elegant touch to any room. The stool would make the perfect perch next to your most comfortable reading chair, or a wonderful display stand for a favorite collection.
Measures 13 1/2” square by 8 1/2” tall; the top is about 12" square. Good, solid vintage condition - weighs nearly 11 pounds. The fabric on top is worn, and has one small repair (about a 1/2" in diameter). It's not velvet, as it has a coarser weave than most velvets. The paint on the metal legs is a little chippy, which adds to the beautiful patina.
