W.M. Britain's Pre-War antique toy truck and driver in original box.

# 1641

Mechanical Transport and Air Force Equipment
Underslung Lorry with Driver and Search Light

Rare to find in this remarkable condition with the original box.

Nothing broken or missing. Doors are hinged and open and close nicely. The search light operates as well...mechanically. There is a bulb in the lens but I do not know if it works...or how.

These are hand painted hollow cast lead. The paint on the truck and driver is almost flawless, or excellent. The white rubber tires are a little dirty, but cleanable.

The original labeled box is in very good condition, but has minor flaws. One corner of the lid, as shown, is torn. The paper label has some minor wrinkling and is slightly dirty. Color overall is good. There is a label on the end of the lid with the identifying series number.

This is the 'square-nosed' grill version. Highly desirable. The white tires are also more desirable.

Wonderful example of a Britain's war toy.

This piece came directly from the original owner. There is a log book that identifies the date of purchase. This is not included.

Additional photos available on request. Etsy only allows 5 photos.
Please be specific as to what you would like to see.

Box Size is 12"long x 4"wide x 3"high.

The truck is approx 11" in length.

There is a hand sewn cotton bag that covers the truck in storage. This was sewn by the owners mother. There is another small drawstring bag for the driver.
