These awesome wrap around safety glasses have very dark cobalt blue lenses in an unusual, two part style, allowing you to see out the front and sides of the goggles. The lenses are rimmed in metal and attached to a waxed canvas mask with ventilation holes, which has a soft cotton border against your skin. The goggles have an adjustable elastic strap that buckles at the back of your head. Cobalt glass is used in welding glasses to mask the bright yellow flare made by the contact arc of the heat source, allowing you to see more clearly what you are working on.
The body, or canvas portion, is about 7” wide by 3” tall; the total length including strap is 21”. Nice vintage condition. The lenses appear to be clear, and the elastic strap, while old, still has some stretch to it and will hold the goggles around your head. The buckle still works fine. The lenses have a number painted on them, that looks like '4-3', and the buckle is marked with 'C063'. No other brand or maker markings.
