Collection of 6 Figures. I'm not sure of each figures 'meaning' or what they stand for. I'm sure they symbolize disciplines, or some facet of the human situation.
Date to around 1940-1950. WWll
I believe they are oxbone, but am not sure.
They are stamped on the bottom 'Hong Kong', in ink or paint (white). I am open to suggestions, comments, and educated opinions as to their origins. I would not call the carving 'exquisite', or 'fine', but probably more common. Just trying to be as realistic as possible in their assessment.
Each figure stands 3" high, and the wood carved base is about 3/4" high.
