This cast iron electric fan makes a decidedly industrial statement with its heavy curved base and squiggly wire cage. What a cool accent for any variety of settings - it would be a great guy gift for your favorite hard-to-shop-for man.
Measures 9” wide by 10 1/2” tall by 6” deep. Marked 'Whirlwind Westinghouse Electric' on the outside of the motor. The model number dates this fan to 1928. Miraculously enough, the fan does still run, but it makes a terrible racket, so it would require a tune up (and some rewiring) to actually use. It's in decent cosmetic condition considering it's age, with some wear and expected grubbiness accumulated over the years. It has a nice bit of carpet added to the bottom of the base to protect the surface of your table.
