This vintage crate panel makes a wonderfully graphic sign. Nice warm wood tone with great stenciled black and red type. Fun for country or cottage decor, or as a gift for your favorite urban chicken farmer!
Dr. Hess was a veterinarian and poultry farmer who invented this conditioner and tonic. It was added to feed to help chickens lay more, and higher quality, eggs! I've found ads dating back to 1915, but the name Pan-A-Min looks like it started to be used in the 30's.
Measures 25" wide by 12" tall by 1/2” wide. Good rustic vintage condition; the ends are not perfectly straight as I assume they were cut off of a crate of some sort.
