I was told this great little waste can was for discarding specimens - it has a galvanized tin liner for easy emptying. The outer can and cover are painted a very light, soothing green (favorite color of 1950's era hospitals everywhere). The great little foot pedal sort of rotates from side to side to pop the cover open - very cool design. Add a bit of institutional chic (is that a thing?) to your decor!
Measures 13” tall by 10 1/2” diameter. Good, used vintage condition, with rust around the bottom rim of the can. The pedal still works just fine to open the lid.
