This vintage servant's call bell came out of a Highland Park, Il. mansion. It would normally have hung in the kitchen, and was connected to a button or bell in another room - when the lady of the house needed something, she simply pressed the button and the bell sounded, summoning the hired help. Very Downton Abbey!
Measures 7” by 4” by 3 3/4” and weighs over 3 pounds. Marked 'No 22 A, 100 Ohms'. Good, used vintage condition. I was told that this was tested and still works - I have not tested it myself, nor I am electronically inclined, so take that with a grain of salt!
