This wooden hat stretcher was used to stretch out the body of a hat - the starting hat size is 6 7/8. The center wood handle turns to open up the two halves of the stretcher. It's a functional tool that would look great as a display piece or hung on a wall.
Measures 7” tall by 6” wide by 2 3/4” thick. Marked with size '6 7/8' and 'C. Aikman Co., 44 Rose St., New York'. Nice, vintage working condition.
