Massive Vintage Double Sided Hand Painted Butcher Metal signs. 1940.
This sign was promoting a butchery - pork butcher in the 40s called Butchery Jean.
It reads on side one :
"Fight the expensive life"
"buy our specialties, sausage , ham, liver paté, calf's head, knuckles of ham"
"appreciated by all , a delight for gourmets"
Side two :
"Eat better, pay less" !
"It is still Jean Butchery !"
