This is an absolutely adorable little baby girl's dress, it is the kind of dress for picture day or a special occasion. It is made of the finest lightweight cotton fabric. The bodice is hand smocked and further embellished with tiny hand embroidered rose buds and tiny green leaves. The white collar also has the tiny rosebuds and the edges of the collar and sleeves are trimmed in tiny delicate lace. It has a tiny cloth label "Art Frocks", but the size label has lost it's printing so I'm not sure of the size. Measurements are:
Back of neck to hem - approx 16"
Upper chest at underarm - 14 1/2" (measured flat)
The hem was hand sewn. It closes at the back with tiny mother of pearl buttons. This little dress is so dreamy and fit for a little princess. It has been freshly laundered and pressed, it is free of stains, spots or tears. My home is non smoking.
