This is a vintage oil painting of a native American Indian. It measures approx. 16 x 18". It was painted on a heavy artist board. The lady I bought this printing from told me that it was part of the WPA project, (Works Progress Administration) dating back to 1939-1943. The WPA was sponsored by the government to provide work for unemployed victims of the great depression. There is a stamp on the back side from an auction house in Visalia, California. This is not a great work of art but WPA printings are very collectible. He is a great looking Indian, I like him a lot. The color is still bright, it looks most like photo #3. There are some small flecks of missing paint, it is a little rough on the edges and looks like it was in a frame at one time.
