This is an heirloom Christmas stocking created by me from my collection of vintage and antique findings.
This stocking was made with a small vintage needlepoint featuring a young woman holding a bouquet of flowers. I took my inspiration from an English country garden.The cuff has three rows of vintage crochet and edging with small flowers.ribbon. Vintage fringed edged braid frames the needlepoint. Toes and heels have a vintage floral print.
It is lined with the a polka dot light blue satin. It is backed with the same fabric used for the toes and heels. It is lightly padded for stability and has a loop for hanging. It measures approx. 17 1/2" long and is approx. 8 1/2" across the top.
