Mid century vintage rectangular tray with summer meadow floral pattern in yellows and greens - perfect for serving lunch in the garden, a barbecue or picnic!
ABOUT THE TRAY
The large serving tray is a rectangular shape, with a slight bow on the longer sides, and made from bent ply with a melamine finish and a raised rim to prevent spills. The bright floral pattern in yellows and greens with just a touch of blue, depicts a summer meadow or garden in full bloom. The base of the tray has a faux wood grain effect and maker's marks.
Dating from the 1960's / 1970's and made in Great Britain by Mallod, who specialised in bent plywood kitchen and storage items.
Colourful, sweet and very practical - great for any time you're entertaining or eating and drinking outdoors - a picnic or barbeque in the garden or camping or caravan on vacation. Easy to use and easy to clean so you can get on with enjoying your Summer!
CONDITION
In excellent vintage condition - some light wear from use.
Maker's marks: 'Mallod - 148108 - 7 - Made in Great Britain'. Also original sticker: 'Melamine Finished Tray - Heat & Stain Resistant - Made in Britain'.
