This is a most wonderful and collectible Erzgebirge German wooden bank, probably from the 1950's. It is hard to know where to start describing it, it has it all. It is the fairy tale of the princess and the frog prince. The little princess is at the well and the frog prince is looking at her. On the pump sits a little blue bird. The bank measures approx. 4" square and is approx. 4 1/4" tall. Some of the parts on this bank are so delicate it is hard to believe the excellent condition it is in. I just don't see any flaws to report. You can see in photo #5 that even the key is taped to the bottom of the bank. This little bank is a real treasure.
