I think this must be the most beautiful glove box I have ever had. It is hand painted all across the top with orchids. My photo looks true to the actual colors, the background is a darkish brown with some mottled reddish places. The orchids are in shades of cream, gray, reds, burgundy, orange and pinks with some green leaves. This box measures approx. 12 x 3 3/4 and it is approx. 1 3/4" deep. The lid has a little bit of a wobble to it, maybe some warpage from age. The inside has some staining to the red interior, it shows in photo #4. The box has some crazing as you would expect from an antique. If I had an hour I couldn't fully describe the beauty of this box, over-the-top.
