These vintage earrings are from the1980’s. They are from a collection stored away from a small jewelry and accessories store I owned in the 80’s. They are a wonderful Art Deco style. Art Deco's linear symmetry makes an elegant, bold statement.
These earrings are made of brass with mother of pearl. The mother of pearl embellishment is the perfect shimmering addition. The brass stamping is filled with resin in the back, making them a very light, wearable earring. These earrings have very light wear on the brass, as well as a mark here and there on the resin backs. Most of the wear is from being stored and moved, or from the original make. I cleaned them up a bit, and gave them a new tarnish resistant clear coating. I replaced the original earring hooks with new gold plated stainless steel hooks.
These earrings measure 1" across the bottom, and 1" long plus the earring hook.
